Your overarching mission will be to provide exceptional customer service, help retain valued clients, and assist your account executives and account director colleagues in winning the business which will further fuel the branch’s consistently impressive growth trajectory. With your experience of mid to corporate cross class commercial insurance, and your technical expertise you’ll be a trusted and knowledgeable client adviser, supporting them across their insurance and risk management needs. You’ll be dealing with clients whose premiums range from £100K to £2m. Key duties will include: Cultivating strong, enduring client relationships within your allocated book of corporate clients, supporting as their highly technical trusted advisor. Preparing high-quality client documents, obtaining renewal terms, and securing alternative quotes. Expertly resolving client and insurer queries, processing policies, and ensuring secure delivery of all documentation. Promptly highlighting any concerns to the appropriate account executive/director. Managing mid-term policy adjustments, handling account queries, and overseeing credit control matters. Ensuring all client data is accurately and timely recorded and aligning all activities with legal and regulatory policies. What you’ll bring: The role requires you to be customer-centric and risk-aware, possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. A solid team player, you’ll bring strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll be process-driven, task-focused and results-oriented with a strong eye for detail and rigorous in undertaking due diligence. An innate negotiator with acute commercial awareness of the market and total integrity, you’re naturally proactive and responsive, taking greatest pride in ensuring impeccable customer satisfaction. This role requires prior account handling experience within the retail insurance sector, particularly with mid to large corporate clients, and familiarity with cross-class insurance. Experience in hospitality, retail would be highly beneficial, as would exposure to global programmes. While a background in mid to large corporate clients is preferred, those with experience in large commercial business will also be considered. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the commercial insurance industry, and strong MS Office skills. Experience with Acturis is desirable.
