The successful candidate should be experienced, self-motivated, and will be responsible for assisting the companys clients with design services. The projects generally have one to two months design periods and are varied in nature, giving the appointed candidate an ever-changing and interesting range of design duties. The Job Youll Do; Provide experience and assistance for the companys design projects. Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the companys clients. Contribute to team meetings, the project team, contractors, and other stakeholders. Undertake and deliver high quality models and drawings for building services and power distribution systems. Produce high quality 2D drawings using CAD software and occasionally 3D models using Autodesk Revit. Follows QMS processes relating to management of Revit outputs. Produce innovative, high quality 2D drawings Produce technical drawings for tender stage and construction. Produce and revise layouts, design and working drawings. Support teams in troubleshooting technical issues and resolve drawing clashes. Able to demonstrate awareness and knowledge of CAD Designs and Regulations. Able to work to tight timescales with no supervision. Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. Liaise with internal and external design team members and designers throughout the project workflow. Provide in-house CAD training and guidance to engineering staff if required. About You; 3 years experience in a similar role working within a relevant industry (construction, building services, civil engineering etc.) Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working with Autodesk Revit to produce design models (desirable, not essential) Possess a strong work ethic and communication skills. Confident communicator at all levels Well organised and able to work independently
