Functieomschrijving As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of high-voltage EV charging systems for heavy-duty electric trucks. You will be responsible for building, testing, and calibrating prototypes and functional samples in a high-tech environment. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with design engineers and other internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality, validated product performance. Working On: High Voltage Junction Boxes (HVJBs) used in megawatt charging systems (up to 850V / 1300A) Innovative, compact solutions that integrate contactors, fuses, and controllers for electric trucks Custom-made components designed to meet demanding thermal and safety performance requirements Key Responsibilities: Assemble prototypes and samples using technical drawings or sketches. Perform functional testing and calibration of parts and products, using computer-controlled test equipment. Record and report test results clearly and accurately. Modify or build custom tools and fixtures when required. Ensure high-quality standards throughout the build and test process. Support continuous improvement of test processes and documentation. Functie-eisen Technical Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent experience. Experience with prototype and sample build processes in a high-tech environment. Strong affinity with both electrical and mechanical engineering. Good communication skills in English (written and spoken). Skilled in Microsoft Office. Proactive mindset, able to set priorities and work independently. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams and internal stakeholders.
