Accountant

At Off-White, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Finance team in Milan. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on general ledger activities, accounts payable and receivable, and treasury / payment processes. The role requires familiarity with Italian accounting principles and local compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities : Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Manage accounts payable : process and post supplier invoices, handle payment schedules, and reconcile supplier statements Manage accounts receivable : monitor outstanding receivables Execute and monitor domestic and international payments , including SEPA and SWIFT transfers Reconcile bank statements and manage daily cash position Ensure compliance with Italian tax and financial regulations (IVA, ritenute d’acconto, etc.) Support monthly and annual closings and prepare documentation for statutory audits Liaise with external consultants (e.g., CPA, auditors) and internal departments when needed Requirements : Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Previous experience in an accounting role within an Italian company (4 years preferred) Good knowledge of Italian accounting and tax regulations Experience with accounting software and strong proficiency in MS Excel Accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines Good communication skills in Italian; English is a plus (especially for multinational contexts) J-18808-Ljbffr
