Social network you want to login/join with: Job Title: Data Analyst (Power BI) Location: Fully Remote (EU-based preferred, ideally Italy) Contract Duration: 6 Months Extension Start Date: Beginning of August (ASAP onboarding preferred) About the Role We are partnered with a huge international FinTech company that are searching for a skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support a strategic dashboard project. This role is critical to upskilling internal staff and involves working closely with a junior Power BI analyst who will shadow the successful candidate. You’ll play a central role in building new, impactful dashboards, ensuring best practices in data visualisation, and enabling clear, data-driven decision-making. The role also includes mentoring responsibilities for a few hours daily. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver new dashboards in Power BI . Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into insightful visual reports. Mentor and upskill a junior data analyst during 3–4 hours of the workday. Ensure dashboard performance, usability, and adherence to data standards. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally with exposure to fintech or financial services . Strong proficiency in Power BI – hands-on, advanced knowledge required. Solid understanding of data storytelling, visualisation best practices, and dashboard performance tuning. Experience working with diverse datasets and transforming them into actionable insights. Nice to Have Italian language skills – not essential but preferred for alignment with client stakeholders. English proficiency – a plus for documentation and communication. Experience mentoring or training junior team members. Power BI certifications – beneficial but not mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics). Remote Work: 100% remote, no location restrictions (EU time zone preferred).
