Unit Information: - Location: Main campus, D corridor, 2nd Floor (D2) - Number of Beds: 20 - Staffing: Day Shift - 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs; Night Shift - 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Patient Ratios: 1:5/1:6 based on level of care - Specialties: Mixed level of care - medical-surgical and/or step-down patients - Equipment Used: Telemetry; patients monitored via bedside devices if necessary. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) utilized: Cerner Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring and step-down patient management. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes. - Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction through compassionate care and effective communication. - Participate in regular training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices. Qualifications: - Required: - Telemetry competency - Progressive Care experience - BLS and ACLS certifications - Preferred: - Recent experience in a progressive care or telemetry setting.
