Frontend Developer

In this pivotal role, you will be integral to creating new product features, refactoring and optimizing our codebase, and working on essential tooling and components to facilitate our product's evolution. This job offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact user-facing aspects and contribute significantly to product development and innovation. What you'll do Develop features using JQuery/JS, HTML, and CSS3 Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards Analyze and organize technical work for product improvements Document work and share with the engineering team What you'll need Experience with JQuery/JS through boot camps, education, or work Ability to write semantic and accessible markup Scaffolding experience with modern web applications Understanding of testing value Focus on technical optimization and solution implementation Desire to systemise and codify conventions when implementing features Nice to have Experience in optimising the critical path and measuring and fixing performance issues Understanding of common design patterns in JQuery/JS Understanding of C# and Razor syntax Understanding of Sass/SCSS and Nano styling concepts Experience writing Bootstrap, flexbox and grid layout Experience in building and/or integrating a design system into a website Working with Visual Studio 2019 / 2022 and Visual Studio Code Interest in the user experience An inquisitive and pragmatic working style; feels empowered to communicate issues in the pursuit of excellent work
