JOB DESCRIPTION : As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud solutions aligned with business objectives. Job Duties : Design, deploy, and manage enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure with high availability, scalability, and security. Work with development teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Create and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline cloud resource provisioning. Monitor and optimize AWS resource performance, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization. Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime. Keep up-to-date with AWS services and best practices, recommending their adoption. Collaborate on cloud governance, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies. Participate in hybrid cloud design and implementation, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent required. Experience : At least 4 years in AWS cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. Deep understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, VPC, and Security Groups. Experience with CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong networking knowledge, including TCP / IP, DNS, and load balancing. Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, or Prometheus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience in Agile environments is highly desirable.
