Cyber Security Analyst - Journeyman Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular - Long Term Assignment Travel: Up to 10%, Local and OCONUS The Opportunity: Are you interested in advancing your career in Europe within a mission-focused environment? We seek experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Specialists to support US AREUR-AF and their Mission Partners in achieving their mission objectives. Position Overview: We offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Cybersecurity Analyst, Journeyman . This role supports a DoD organization, US AR EUR - AF, and their Mission Partner USAG in Vicenza, Italy, with required OCONUS travel. Responsibilities: Support cybersecurity operations across hardware, software, sensors, policies, incident response, compliance, logging, RMF, SCA, and CSSP with limited supervision. Report potential cybersecurity events and incidents to the Government and MP Lead. Respond to incidents with appropriate countermeasures and restore services. Assist in security audits, policy reviews, and security posture improvements. Test and evaluate security patches for compatibility and resolve configuration issues. Maintain artifacts supporting RMF packages and ATO, including documentation and security controls. Track and report on cyber posture, orders, directives, and POA&Ms. Conduct vulnerability scans and develop trend reports. Support cyber evaluations, assessments, and exercises, implementing recommendations. Manage logging activities and report findings. Operate independently on complex assignments, developing methodologies and solutions. Qualifications: Required: Adjudicated Secret clearance with maintenance ability. BA/BS 4-7 years of experience. Certification: DoD 8140 GSEC or Security. Expertise in cybersecurity operations, incident response, compliance, and knowledge of RMF, SCA, CSSP support. Experience with vulnerability scanning, log management, and ATO documentation. Ability to work independently and within teams, communicating technical information clearly. TESA Eligible. Desired: CISSP certification. Adaptability and understanding of DoD standards and requirements. What You Can Expect: At CACI, we foster a culture of integrity, trust, and continuous growth. Compensation: The salary range is $86,100 - $181,000, influenced by location, experience, skills, and certifications.
