The company operates a Pan-European platform, developing, manufacturing, and supplying high-quality, affordable medicines to over 100 million people in Europe. With four manufacturing sites and a network of external partners, it ensures supply security across key therapeutic areas such as Cardiology, Diabetes, Oncology, Respiratory, CNS, and self-care. Owned by Private Equity, the company drives sustainable double-digit growth and plans further expansion across Europe. The Global Head of Engineering will execute strategies and engineering activities aligned with Product Supply objectives and will be a key member of the Product Supply Leadership Team, contributing to strategic and operational excellence. While headquartered in Central Europe, the role does not require being based there; candidates can be based in any European country with frequent travel. Main Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and implement a global engineering strategy aligned with business goals. Drive process and technology standardization worldwide. Advise the Product Supply Leadership Team on strategic matters. HSE Leadership Integrate HSE into all engineering activities. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and lead sustainability efforts. Promote safety, risk management, and environmental responsibility. Operational Excellence Oversee engineering performance, including CAPEX, asset management, supply reliability, maintenance, and automation. Ensure facilities and equipment meet safety, compliance, and efficiency standards. Lead multi-year CAPEX and major global projects. Innovation and Technology Promote Industry 4.0 technologies and automation. Drive innovation for operational efficiency and sustainability. People Development Build and lead high-performing global engineering teams. Implement career development and foster growth. Ensure availability of SMEs for global support. Sustainability and Value Creation Optimize resources for cost, quality, and compliance. Lead environmental impact reduction initiatives. Develop site master and recapitalization plans.
