Fire Alarm Designer

Allied Fire Protection, Inc., a leader in fire safety solutions, is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Designer to join our Engineering & Design department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and planning of fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes. This position requires a detailed-oriented professional who can create effective and safe fire alarm solutions tailored to client needs and building specifications. Design and draft fire alarm system plans using specialized software. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure optimal placement and functionality of fire alarm components. Review and interpret building plans and blueprints to effectively plan fire alarm layouts. Ensure all fire alarm designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and codes. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess and plan fire safety needs. Coordinate with the installation team to ensure accurate execution of designs. Maintain project documentation and provide technical support during installation. Stay updated with the latest fire protection technologies and industry regulations. Proficiency in fire alarm design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Strong understanding of fire protection systems and components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
