Inspector

Allied Fire Protection, Inc., a leader in fire safety solutions, is seeking a dedicated Fire Safety Inspector to join our team. This role involves conducting routine inspections and periodic maintenance checks. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations, thus safeguarding societal safety through the enforcement of relevant laws and codes. Successful candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, an analytical approach, and an unwavering commitment to public safety. Inspect and test fire protection systems and equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document inspection outcomes, noting violations and recommending corrective actions. Educate building owners and occupants on fire safety practices and preventative measures. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to advise on the building and fire safety codes during the design and construction phases. Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and follow-up on the implementation of corrective measures. Investigate fire incidents to determine their cause and to provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences. In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes and standards (NFPA) Proficiency in the use of testing and diagnostic instruments for fire safety inspections Ability to analyze and interpret safety protocols and procedures Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and explain fire safety information clearly
