The ideal candidate will focus on creating and developing new business opportunities within the energy sector, specifically targeting clients in need of streamlined fuel delivery and management services. The role is pivotal in supporting our mission to enhance operational efficiency and reduce fuel-related costs for our clients, positioning Diesel Direct as a partner of choice in the energy industry. Identify and target potential clients within the gas, oil, and electric sectors, developing strategies to cultivate partnerships and close deals. Engage with prospects through cold calls, emails, and networking events to generate new leads and grow the sales pipeline. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor landscapes, leveraging insights to tailor sales approaches. Present Diesel Direct's value propositions effectively during client meetings and industry conferences. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop materials and proposals that resonate with target markets. Negotiate contracts with new clients, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs. Maintain a detailed record of all sales activities and client interactions within the CRM system. Meet and strive to exceed annual sales targets and KPIs set by the sales management.
