In this role, you will be responsible for developing scientifically accurate, strategically aligned content across a variety of therapeutic areas, ensuring deliverables meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, contribute to project strategy, and support junior colleagues, all within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Core Responsibilities Independently interpret and transform complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and engaging content across multiple accounts and formats. Participate in client meetings to refine project briefs, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment, and quality. Manage small to medium-sized projects, monitoring progress, timelines, budgets, and flagging scope changes when necessary. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior writers, fostering professional growth and best practice. Maintain exceptional editorial and quality control standards, ensuring all outputs align with client brand strategies and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery, meeting deadlines and objectives. Stay informed on relevant therapy area developments, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines. Contribute to internal initiatives such as training, CSR, and knowledge-sharing activities. Requirements Relevant medical writing experience within a medical communications, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environment. Broad knowledge of therapy areas, with the ability to adapt writing style to varied audiences. Strong scientific background (life sciences degree required; MSc or PhD desirable). Excellent attention to detail, quality control, and compliance awareness. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Confident communicator with solid interpersonal skills, including client-facing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
