Back End Developer

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Back-End Developer to join their fully remote team. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Nest.js, is passionate about innovation and user-centric design, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for building scalable, secure, and well-tested backend services that power meaningful digital products. Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Nest.js and/or Laravel. · Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end systems and third-party services. · Utilise ORMs to manage database interactions (MySQL, PostgreSQL). · Write clean, reusable code that adheres to DRY principles and modern architecture patterns. · Apply event-driven architecture and caching strategies (e.g., Redis). · Conduct unit and feature testing using frameworks like Jest or PHPUnit. · Implement security best practices and data protection mechanisms. · Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and project stakeholders. · Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies. · Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. · Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices.
