As a member of this team, you will actively contribute to innovative projects, impacting strategy and the company's future success. The candidate will design and develop algorithms and embedded software for a broad product portfolio, including Smart Vision Sensors and Systems. Main responsibilities: Analyze system requirements, design and develop software for new products or features. Review and debug code, review third-party code, and manage integration. Collaborate with the Software Team Manager and Project Software Lead to organize activities, define priorities, and meet milestones. Coordinate development and integration activities, adopting best practices like code reviews, source control, testing, and change management. Support hardware development and testing, collaborating on validation plans. Act as the software interface with internal customers such as test, operations, and quality teams. Support manufacturing engineering during process development and production startup. Coordinate with external consultants on software design and testing. Requirements: Over 6 years of embedded software/firmware development experience. Vision Systems experience in Industrial Automation and leadership skills are a plus. Strong C and C++ skills required; Python and scripting experience are a plus. Familiarity with serial communication buses (SPI, I2C, RS232). Experience with electronic schematics, datasheets, and laboratory equipment. Experience in high-level and low-level design from system requirements. Experience with full software development lifecycle, unit testing, and automation. Experience in developing image processing algorithms and understanding of machine learning concepts. J-18808-Ljbffr
