General Accountant

We're Hiring! We are currently looking for a skilled and hands-on Hotel General Accountant to join our pre-opening team and take charge of daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality accounting experience who is ready to manage the full scope of hotel accounting processes in a dynamic and independent environment. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting activities: general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, invoice registration, and bank reconciliations Handle supplier purchasing and cost control processes Post and reconcile income from hotel systems (Opera PMS, SYMPHONY POS) Ensure accurate revenue recording Prepare month-end reports and financial statements in line with USALI standards Support local tax filings and compliance with Italian statutory regulations Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure financial accuracy and controls Maintain and manage the accounting system in Oracle NetSuite Liaise with external consultants for payroll and HR related matters Requirements At least 2–4 years of experience in hotel or hospitality accounting Knowledge of USALI and Italian accounting principles is preferred but not essential Experience using Oracle NetSuite is preferred but not essential Familiarity with Opera PMS and MICROS Symphony POS is also preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Fluent in Italian and English Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field What We Offer : Contract as per CCNL Turismo, starting from mid October 2025 A dynamic work environment Opportunity to be part of a luxury hospitality opening Note: Accommodation is not provided.
