Commodity Manager Mechatronics Components (M / F / d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Key responsibilities : Optimize global commodity strategy for assigned commodity. Adjust and optimize the global supplier base. Support risk, capacity, and shortage management. Support and lead a team of local buyers. Negotiate global contracts and pricing. Identify and onboard new suppliers. Support benchmarking activities. Conduct supplier visits, workshops, onsite audits, etc. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a global purchasing organization, preferably with an automotive or engineering background. Good technical knowledge of production processes. Elastomer commodity knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in PC and SAP systems. Strong purchasing, technical, and commercial skills. Leadership qualities and team-oriented mindset. High intercultural competence and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel. Negotiation experience and skills. Business-fluent English language skills. Educational Requirements : Degree in technical engineering.
