Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $2,128 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry working night shifts. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience before applying for this travel position. A permanent Ohio license or a compact state license is required at the time of submission. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and active. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start date and must be updated annually. All requests for time off must be discussed during the interview process. Background checks are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty for which applying are required for consideration. Travel experience references are required from the most recent assignment if applicable. Candidates cannot return to the facility for one year following their previous end date. An ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
