The Company We are Tecnimont SpA, an EPC contractor of Maire Tecnimont Group, an industrial leader in Engineering & Construction, Technology & Licensing, and Energy Business Development and Ventures. Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, the Group is among the global top-ranking engineering contractors. The candidate will have to deal with internal and external stakeholders for the management of the international (and Italian when needed) payroll activities and will also be a point of contact for foreign HR and payroll departments of other group companies. This role will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments. Job Description : Serve as a member of the International Payroll and Tax team under the Expats management function (HR), working closely with the team to effectively manage global payroll activities. Collaborate with the external global payroll provider to design, build, test, and deploy the global payroll platform. Act as a primary contact for foreign HR and payroll colleagues, focusing on expatriates, managing daily payroll and tax activities and processes. Monitor global payroll issues and coordinate with foreign payroll colleagues and external providers to resolve them. Ensure compliance with headquarters' global payroll policies, instructions, and roadmaps across all countries in the group. Serve as a trusted payroll advisor for employees and foreign HR colleagues. Manage Italian payroll for outbound and inbound employees on international assignments, providing support for related issues. Run Italian gross-to-net and net-to-gross calculations as needed. Review payslips for Italian and foreign employees to ensure payroll compliance. Align and ensure compliance between Italian and foreign payslips for expatriates on international assignments. Manage purchase requisitions/orders with external vendors, procurement, and finance departments. Support foreign inbound expatriates with payroll-related onboarding activities. The appropriate candidate has : At least 4 years of experience managing international or global payroll platforms in large, complex, and dynamic organizations, with a focus on expatriates. Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Experience managing payroll for employees moving between countries (outbound, inbound, or international transfers). Knowledge of global payroll administration, processes, and best practices. Experience working with external payroll vendors. Understanding of payroll management concerning shares and cash incentive plans. Basic knowledge of SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Time, and Zucchetti payroll engine. Basic understanding of tax equalization, net guarantees, international tax, and social security. Familiarity with Italian tax regimes for inbound employees. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve payroll issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with internal and external stakeholders.
