Job Description: As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud solutions aligned with business objectives. You will leverage your AWS expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality to deliver exceptional solutions. Job Duties: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Work with development teams to architect and implement solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Create automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates for resource provisioning. Monitor and optimize AWS resource performance, focusing on cost and resource efficiency. Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure performance. Stay updated with AWS services and best practices, recommending their adoption. Collaborate on cloud governance, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies. Participate in hybrid cloud design, integrating on-premises and AWS infrastructure. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent. Experience: At least 4 years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of cloud security, IAM, VPC, and Security Groups. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform). Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing). Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, Prometheus). Strong troubleshooting skills and teamwork capability. Experience in Agile environments is desirable.
