Specification Technologist

Gi Group is seeking an important client R&D Technologist To manage all aspects of specification technical support required by the Commercial Team and to drive a business-winning and growth culture. Primary Purpose of Role Attend customer and internal team meetings to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Enhance relationships with Key Customers and align activities to achieve their principal objectives. Detailed Role Description Act as the first point of contact for assigned customers, supporting the commercial team in technical matters. Serve as the first point of contact for new UK customers (industry & retail). Write and update specifications for customers in the area of responsibility, following approval processes through specific customer software. Stay informed and updated on customer requirements, codes of practice, and ensure guidelines are circulated and followed in new product development. Responsible for claims generation and validation with the customer. Responsible for quality standards generation and validation. Collaborate with the packaging team to contribute to the AW process, ensuring each step is performed OTIF. Define label size and content, including variable data. Participate in the first production of new items and verify that all product attributes align with the specifications. Organize shipment of first production and production test samples required by customers. Complete documents required by customers. Manage activities in AS400. Qualifications University Degree One year of experience Fluency in English J-18808-Ljbffr
