AREA International Programmes - Program Quality, Impact and Innovation REFERS TO Thematic & Innovation Lead CONTRACT TYPE Co.Co.Co. (Collaborazione Coordinata e Continuativa) DURATION OF CONTRACT – 5 months (15 September 2025 to 28 February 2026) ANNUAL GROSS SALARY RANGE 30.000 – 34.000 SAFEGUARDING LEVEL 1 JOB PURPOSE The FSL & CSSP Advisor contributes to the SC Italy Programme Quality, Innovation, and Impact strategy. They ensure that interventions under the FSL & CSSP themes are designed and implemented with high-quality thematic inputs. The Advisor supports proposals, ongoing projects, and strategic initiatives, ensuring thematic quality and alignment with SCI standards and methodologies. Working within PQII (other TAs and MEAL), Programme Development and Management, Institutional Partnership, and Business Development, the FSL & CSSP Advisor contributes to SC Italy's strategic objectives under the supervision of the Thematic and Innovation Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES Proposal development : Provide technical guidance / support to ensure programmatic innovation is integrated into proposals. Project implementation : Offer technical support to COs on projects within the SC Italy portfolio. Engagement : Support engagement activities, including fundraising and communication materials, as needed. Coordination and synergy : Ensure strong collaboration with all relevant SC Italy teams. Capacity strengthening : Support COs' capacity building based on joint needs assessment, ensuring coordination with SCA. FINAL RESULTS Support at least 2 project proposals. Support the implementation of at least 4 projects with technical inputs and advice. Provide technical inputs for engagement processes, including advocacy, fundraising, and communication materials. Participate in all relevant technical group meetings. Prepare materials for capacity strengthening events for COs. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SOFT SKILLS Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. At least 3 years of experience in FSL and Child Sensitive Social Protection advisory roles. Ability to work both hands-on and in an advisory capacity. Experience in developing successful funding proposals for institutional and private donors. Excellent written and spoken English skills for assessment and reporting. Flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability to various interlocutors. Strong commitment to Save the Children's principles, child focus, and mandate.
