Basic Function Manages and supervises the site’s quality control team for products Responsible for the control, monitoring, and verification of conformity of products during production. Quality System: Responsible for the management of the ISO 9001 Quality System. Support in the management of recipes for products. Provides technical support for products. Roles & Responsibilities Planning and execution of review, verification and validation at all stages of product design and development (management of two pilot plants). Management of quality control activities: raw materials, semi-finished products, finishedProduct. Management and supervision of the chemical and mechanical laboratory. Development and updating technical specifications and product data sheets. Coordination of R&D activities and formulation development support in cooperation with the business area Management of measuring instruments (calibration and maintenance). Management of Certifications (ISO 9001, OCS, IATF) Management compliance and non-conformity (internal, suppliers, customers). Management of Go/No-Go process – periodical Audit processes and dedicated management system. Coordination of internal and external audits (customers and certifying bodies) Technical support to the customer and management of technical problems of product applications. Definition of control plans based on NC (Non-Compliant) analysis and claims. Support in the creation and management of finished products in SAP/PLM. Support for the introduction of new raw materials. Contribute to the definition of the budget of its area and monitor its execution. Identify the training needs of the team. Promote continuous improvement of business processes through data and KPIs Dimensions of job: Employees Supervised: 9 Interface and cooperate with: Regulatory, Laboratory, Production, Commercial, R&D Min. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering Work Experience: At least 10 years' experience in chemical/quality laboratory, of which at least 5 in the specific field Experience in the management of the Quality System and laboratory team. Knowledge of plastic processing techniques. ERP skills, statistical tools (e.g. Six Sigma) Skills: In-depth knowledge of the product, raw materials, and production processes. Knowledge of laboratory techniques (chemical and mechanical analysis). Knowledge of ISO standards and audit methodologies. Management of measuring instruments and quality control methods. Use of computer systems (ERP, Office package, laboratory software). Languages: Fluent knowledge of English and Italian Licenses & Certifications : ISO 9001 Internal Auditor mandatory Training Six Sigma (preferred) Preferred Qualifications Management skills for objectives and project management. Leadership and management team. Effective communication and conflict management Identification and management of criticalities. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
