Job Description

Our products and incident response services are used by large enterprises, governments, and militaries for incident response and threat hunting. We are seeking a candidate who leverages industry knowledge and technical solutions to assist customers in gaining market share and increasing operational efficiencies. The role involves providing technical and consultative leadership for complex engagements, focusing on specific industries or service offerings. Responsibilities Provide technical and consultative services on NetWitness solutions across complex project engagements. Conduct workshops, analyze requirements, develop solutions, document, and train customers on NetWitness solutions. Collaborate with project managers, team members, and customers to ensure smooth project execution and transitions. Deliver services independently and in team settings, working with sales, personnel, and clients. Manage multiple project streams, define deliverables, and adhere to project methodologies, margins, and statements of work. Lead quality assurance activities, including technical reviews and change control procedures. Possibly manage or serve as technical lead on projects, understanding customer challenges and providing strategic solutions. Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and provide knowledge transfer and training. Create detailed project plans, validate statements of work, and categorize requirements. Technical Responsibilities Assist customers in threat hunting and detection capabilities. Track threat actors and their TTPs. Identify threat groups and their techniques. Advise on cybersecurity best practices related to threat intelligence and detection tools. Develop detection content and use cases within NetWitness for various data sources. Create queries, alerts, dashboards, and reports to identify threats and anomalies. Assess visibility gaps and recommend improvements. Support customers in increasing detection capabilities and investigating attacks. Contribute to sales project scoping and provide technical guidance. Participate in course development, assessments, and content quality assurance. Maintain instructor materials and lab use-cases, assist with lab deployments and upgrades. Deliver webinars and participate in customer training events. Required Experience / Qualifications Understanding of logging mechanisms for networks, servers, and databases. Knowledge of networking and security infrastructure. Ability to detail data flow in network topologies. Strong communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of logs, events, packets, and incidents. Experience with collection methodologies like Syslog, SNMP, ODBC, LEA, FTP, SFTP. Knowledge of threats, security trends, and policies. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in professional English communication. Federal security clearance is a plus.
