Job Description

Role description : Within the Procurement Group, the Category Management Specialist is responsible for the technical and commercial data gathering and analysis in compliance with Corporate Procedures and under the supervision of the Group Category Manager for Static equipment. The purpose of the Category Management Specialist is to significantly contribute to defining the Procurement strategy. Duties and responsibilities : Gather technical and commercial information from internal and external stakeholders regarding Static equipment. Critically analyze technical and commercial data to identify the mid/long-term materials pipeline. Constantly monitor and update the purchasing pipeline. Requirements : Knowledge & Qualifications : A university degree in engineering. A different educational qualification may be considered in light of proven competence in duties and responsibilities of the role. Experience : Essential : Technical experience on Static equipment. Experience as Buyer or in Procurement in international companies manufacturing the specific materials. 2-3 years of experience in required fields of expertise. Skills and Abilities : Strong communication skills in interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to organize and analyze information to identify opportunities. Fluent in English. Able to deal quickly and effectively with large amounts of information. Methodical, patient, determined, and accustomed to handling situations under pressure. Attention to detail and correct execution of outputs/reports. Rigorous attitude towards tasks. Proficiency in IT tools for data gathering and analysis. J-18808-Ljbffr
