Broadband Connectivity Architect IRIS2 Turin / Paris Join Eutelsat Group as a Broadband Connectivity Architect for the IRIS2 project in Turin / Paris. Role Overview: We seek a skilled architect to define the end-to-end architecture of our next-generation European LEO satellite communications system (IRIS²). You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, develop technical requirements, perform trade studies, and maintain interface documentation to ensure system integrity and performance. Key Responsibilities: Specify ground transport and control network requirements. Own network-level requirements and coordinate with subsystem teams. Define and maintain system concepts of operations (CONOPS). Manage subsystem interface documentation and schemas. Work with suppliers to meet system needs. Qualifications: Experience in deploying large transport networks for 5G fronthaul, midhaul, or backhaul, or WAN networks. Support experience with Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS). Background in IT infrastructure for ground-based systems. Experience working with communication system component suppliers. Deep understanding of system development, integration, verification, and validation processes. 5-10 years of industry experience. Desired Skills: Expertise in software-defined networking, routing protocols, TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS. Design experience for 5G transport networks. Knowledge of cloud broadband solutions and network automation. Experience with router data/control/management planes and network orchestration. Familiarity with NTN features and systems engineering tools. Location: Preferably based in Paris, France or Torino, Italy, within the EU. Flexible in-office and remote work options.
