We are now looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join the Arduino Cloud and Software team to help us ensure we consistently deploy high-quality applications. You will be responsible for ensuring all software meets internal and external specifications and satisfies user needs before product delivery. Sunny rooftop lunch breaks and hammocks for relaxation and focus. What you'll work on Lead the QA strategy and processes for the Arduino Cloud and Software team. Guide a small team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Define and monitor key quality metrics to ensure high standards for all software products and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. Oversee comprehensive test plans and promote test automation. Serve as the primary contact for all software quality issues, working closely with product, support, and external teams. Establish and maintain a robust bug tracking process to ensure issues are well-documented and prioritized. What you bring BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related technical field. 8 years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in leadership roles. Proven experience leading QA teams and developing QA strategies. Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types. Professional experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Bonus Points Experience with backend API testing. Experience with performance and load testing. Knowledge of software security guidelines or security testing experience. Familiarity with Arduino and embedded programming. Experience in the IoT field.
