Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon logistics business. We are looking for a highly-driven, entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-obsessed Sales Manager working as Associate Business Developer for Amazon Shipping Italy. You will be joining the team recently launched in Italy and will be responsible for the commercial activity targeting small and medium-sized companies, including reaching out to new prospects and negotiating with them to onboard in the program. You will also collect market and customer insights to help us improve our product and customer satisfaction. You are the ideal candidate if : You are excited about partnering in developing a new start-up You are a self-starter, able to juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment You have a strong sales attitude and the drive to meet and exceed program goals and revenue targets You can communicate clearly, concisely, and in a structured manner with senior leaders, especially in written form You can shift from strategic thinking to hands-on execution to deliver results This role will be based in Milan with moderate travel (up to 25%). Italian language skills are required. Key job responsibilities Deliver Results: identify promising prospects and successfully close deals Customer Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with potential strategic customers Cross-functional Collaboration: relay market needs and requirements to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management and Technical teams Dive Deep: measure performance, analyze root causes, and identify areas for improvement Invent and Simplify: analyze current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities to enhance end-user experience, reduce costs, and improve organizational performance BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Proficiency in data analysis and handling large datasets Excellent communication skills and ability to advise leadership effectively Strong prioritization skills and disciplined goal-oriented approach PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency with MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, eLearning tools Experience in business development, sales, and account management, preferably in the B2C express parcel delivery industry J-18808-Ljbffr
