Control Engineer

Akronos Technologies, an Italian company leader in innovation, R&D, and high-tech engineering services, is looking for a Control Engineer . Position : Control Engineer Location : Varese, Italia Responsibilities : Develop algorithm modules for inverters driving PM and IM motors adopting Model-Based Design approach, from simulation up to C code generation using Matlab / Simulink. Integrate motor control algorithm modules with SW platform. Develop and maintain software modules. Integrate existing motor control platform with functionalities specific to the product line. Develop and maintain the company-wide power electronics platform. Competence Requirements : BSc / MSc / PhD degree in Electrics / Electronics / Control System Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in motor control development or specific academic training on electric motors. Good knowledge of electric motors operation, construction, and application. Strong knowledge of power electronics and its application on inverters for motor control. Proficiency in Matlab / Simulink for rapid control prototyping. Knowledge of Ansys tools for FEM simulations. Nice to have : Organizational skills and teamworking attitude. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. All skills will be verified during a technical qualification meeting.
