Director of Controls Line

Carlo Gavazzi, international group active in designing, manufacturing and marketing electronic equipment, is searching for a Director of Controls Line based in Belluno. The Business Line Controls operations takes place mainly in Belluno (120 employees). Some products lines are located in China as well. Main Responsibilities : Leading the business in an area including Sourcing Operations, R&D, Product Management, Product Sales Support and a strong interface with the Sales Organization a well as Customers. Ensuring efficiency to business operations Developing business management goals and objectives that support growth Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to the attainment of goals Ensuring that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities Expected profile : Requirements : Master’s degree in Engineering; an MBA will be a plus Deep knowledge of the Automation Components Business (knowledge of products, customers and market) Familiarity with factory sourcing operations Strong experience in Research & Development and Product Management as well Proven experience as business manager or relevant role Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development Drive change in the business to improve the business results Able to organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity Residence in the Belluno area and availability to travel (to China in particular) are required.
