The Opportunity You will play a critical role in the development of our cutting-edge integrated circuits. You will be responsible for the analog layout from block level through to top-level IC integration and verification, ensuring the highest quality and performance of our designs. This position offers the chance to collaborate closely with design engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design environment and PDKs alongside CAD engineering. You will be a key contributor in a dynamic team environment, leading by example and fostering innovation in our layout processes. What You Will Do Perform analog layout from the block level through to top-level IC integration and verification. Collaborate effectively with design engineers to ensure layout quality, adherence to specifications, and optimal performance. Work seamlessly with other mask designers within a team project environment, contributing to collective success. Engage with CAD engineering to provide input and support for on-going improvements to our Process Design Kits (PDKs) and overall design environment. Apply a strong understanding of industry-standard layout conventions and rules to mitigate layout risk. Utilize high proficiency with the Cadence Virtuoso Design Environment (VDE) Layout Suite, including verification and extraction tools. Execute analog circuitry layout efficiently within size and time-constrained environments. Lead and perform floor planning activities, including block and top-level assembly. Organize and lead layout teams in scheduling and executing complex projects. Contribute ideas for improved productivity and automation of layout tasks. What You Will Bring Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSEET) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC layout. Demonstrated experience in the layout of complex analog circuits such as Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs), Low-Dropout Regulators (LDOs), and Bandgap references. Proficiency with BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS) process technology. A proven ability to contribute innovative ideas for enhancing productivity and automating layout tasks.
