As a Senior Solution Engineer on the Enterprise Greenfield team, you will leverage your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can address complex data challenges faced by customers. You will collaborate with a customer-focused team that values innovation and creativity, developing customized solutions to help clients achieve their goals and propel their businesses forward. The impact you will have : Build successful relationships with clients across your territory, providing technical and business value in partnership with Account Executives and cross-functional teams. Engage clients through hands-on evaluations, Spark programming, and integrations with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications. Contribute to Databricks' technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. Advise on Big Data Analytics architecture and design. Support customers by creating reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications. Grow technically and in pre-sales skills with the goal of becoming an independent Solutions Architect. What we look for : Experience working with clients, creating narratives, answering questions, aligning interests, and achieving tangible outcomes. Ability to independently deliver technical proposals, identify customer pain points, and communicate business value, developing trusted advisor skills. Deep understanding of solution architecture and design. Knowledge in Big Data Analytics, with exposure to proofs-of-concept and major public cloud platforms. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Notes on mandatory requirements : Location must be in the Milan region or within a commutable distance for a hybrid schedule. Willingness to travel up to 20-30% for customer meetings, events, and training. Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English are required.
