We provide a user-friendly and intuitive platform that makes it easy to turn insights into action and foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement. You will be an essential part of this mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve complex data challenges. Join us in our quest to change how people work with data and make a better world! You will report to the Director, Field Engineering, leading the Emerging Business team. The impact you will have: Build successful relationships with clients in your territory to provide technical and business value, collaborating with an Account Executive and the wider Field Engineering team. Generate excitement among clients about Databricks through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications. Contribute to building the Databricks technical community via workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. Advise on Big Data Analytics architecture and design. Support customers by creating reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications. Develop technical and pre-sales skills to become an independently operating Solutions Architect. What we look for: Experience working with clients, creating narratives, answering questions, aligning interests, and achieving outcomes. Ability to deliver technical propositions, identify customer pain points, and explain business value to develop trust. Experience coding in Python, SQL, Java, and willingness to learn Spark. Knowledge of Big Data Analytics and exposure to cloud platforms. Experience in solution architecture and design.
