As a member of the Global Procurement & Real Estate team, this role is focused on organizing and managing sourcing projects across multiple categories based on defined priorities and sourcing plan. The primary geographical focus is on headquarters spend and categories that require centrally led sourcing and coordination, especially in professional services, logistics, and travel. Following the competitive selection process, this role also involves contract negotiations, implementation, and follow-up. The person is responsible for preparation and execution of the full sourcing process. Reporting line Global Procurement Director Responsibilities Sourcing, Negotiating, Contracting and Supplier Management Actively prepares data input from relevant sources for annual pipeline development. Participates in development of annual pipeline of sourcing projects. Prepares and executes sourcing projects in line with SGS processes and best practices, including data collection, scoping, supplier identification, RFP documentation, evaluation, and recommendations. Is accountable for sourcing project delivery and timelines. Ensures tenders deliver the best value with minimal risk to SGS affiliates. Manages contract negotiations, liaising between suppliers, stakeholders, and legal. Follows up on implementation of sourcing outcomes. Reviews supplier performance based on KPIs and SLAs. Assists in operational supplier relationship management when required. Uses SGS procurement tools proactively. Qualifications University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain. At least three years of experience in strategic Procurement within a multinational organization. Proven sourcing and negotiation experience. Understanding of contract laws and standard contracts. Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of independent decisions in line with the line manager. Strong communication skills, able to convince stakeholders and act decisively. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to diverse cultures and timezones. Proficient in virtual collaboration with teams, stakeholders, and suppliers. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Excellent Excel and data management skills. Good stakeholder and change management skills. Strategic yet hands-on, pragmatic, self-starting, and goal-oriented. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
