We are currently seeking an AI HPC Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy! The sense of “Continuity” is a megatrend in how people manage their lives and businesses. As digitization continues to permeate all aspects of life, a technical need arises in the market for ubiquitous Digital Continuity. Vertiv is uniquely positioned to lead this category globally across IT, Communications, Commercial, and Industrial applications. In the growing and dynamic digital infrastructure market, with a particular focus on AI HPC edge installations, the person will seek to establish AI HPC edge leadership, grow market share, revenue, and profitability through solution management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and relentless focus on evolving customer needs and commercial enablement. What kind of work will you be doing? Identifying and implementing AI-HPC edge solutions in EMEA including the ownership of the solution lifecycle management, sense of responsibility for the financial performance of the IT Systems (IRS) solutions business and competitiveness Gain deep insight into customer needs and desired outcomes through extensive customer, channel, market research and deep understanding of industry trends and business practices. Supporting development of strategic IT Systems (IRS) solution configurators, such as Vertiv Solutions Designer, in alignment with the global business unit. Understanding of Vertiv EMEA’s solutions delivery capabilities and contributing to the orchestration of the various functions involved (order management, operations, service,… basically making sure someone cares for the whole business and not just the individual pieces) Develop and effectively communicate Vertiv’s AI-HPC edge value propositions to all the different partners, customers through the various routes to market. Prepare and deliver presentations, case studies and other sales enablement tools and collaterals. Propose and coordinate regular sales promotional activities to assist with top line business success, inventory management and keeping Vertiv branding visible in all channel tiers. Ensure that important trends and technology developments, such as artificial intelligence, high density power distribution and liquid cooling strategies, are effectively embedded into regularly updated value propositions and marketing communication. Manage the price review and price setting processes for AI-HPC edge solutions to ensure that price lists are accurately maintained within deadlines and reflect Vertiv’s commercial requirements in the different market regions. Work closely with Vertiv’s Academy team to ensure training materials are effective and convey the AI HPC edge value propositions clearly. Working closely with sales, definition, sizing, and prioritization of these opportunities, as well as offering gaps, justified in logical, succinct, and data-driven financial business cases, leveraging analytical capabilities to cover gaps or ambiguity in market data. Execution and guidance of primary and secondary market research, including direct interfacing with Fortune 100 companies at executive levels, acquiring unfiltered Voice-of-Customer. Attend tradeshows, visit customers, meet with sales team, distributors and partners to ensure an accurate voice of customer is heard in all business and market communication planning activities. Achievement of positioning as a ‘consultative partner’ of End Users and Channel Partners relevant to the target segments and earning prominent participation in significant industry promotional and thought leadership engagements. Speed of optimized execution and efficiency of communication required to enable engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and IT to successfully achieve the prime market position for Vertiv in the target segments. Strategic input to the global M&A pipeline. Supervising and Management of Special Price Requests and activities What will make you successful? Master’s degree in applicable technology or business field, with demonstrated business aptitude. 5-10 years of related work experience; global product & organizational management experience a plus. Strong technical acumen; mechanical or electrical engineering a plus Experience managing data center whitespace & electrical offerings is highly valued. Familiarity with sales channels including IT Distribution, Electrical Distribution, Value Added Resellers, System Integrators, and Electrical & Mechanical Contractors is highly preferred. Familiarity with technology verticals including cloud services, communication / telecom, collocation, and enterprise highly preferred. Familiarity with server OEM & ODM market leaders, their technologies, capabilities, go-to-market routes, and strategies is highly preferred.
