Job Description

As a System Integration Responsible (SIR), you will lead the definition, planning, and execution of system integration activities within the Cab, Body and Trims department. You will work on highly innovative projects at the forefront of the commercial vehicle industry, contributing to the development of next-generation solutions in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact within the project core team, representing Cab product engineering and development. You will ensure that integration activities are aligned with project goals and timelines, while facilitating collaboration across technical domains. You will also be responsible for reporting project status, risks, and key technical decisions to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the development lifecycle. Essential responsibilities: Define the integration strategy: Develop a comprehensive set of guidelines and criteria for system integration, tailored to projects of varying complexity. Formulate the integration concept: Identify what needs to be integrated and ensure alignment with the overall project strategy and the Verification & Validation (V&V) plan. Develop the integration plan: Create a detailed timeline including milestones and resources, and coordinate integration activities with the V&V plan at different levels. Compile the final integration report: Document the physical setup, operational results, and conclusions from a system integration perspective. Facilitate technical collaboration: Coordinate System and Component Owner teams, remove blockers, and promote Agile methodologies to ensure smooth integration. Drive continuous improvement: Lead regular retrospectives to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements in the integration workflow. Requirements Master's degree in mechanical, Automotive or Management Engineering Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Project management or system integration roles, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector Knowledge of product development processes, V&V, and Agile methodologies Familiarity with MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) and project management tools is appreciated Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and report technical progress and risks to senior management Strong communication, leadership, and communication skills in international contexts Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus. Digital skills: MS Office 365, Outlook and Teams PLM Teamcenter
