Senior Piping & Layout Engineer

Purpose of the Position As a Senior Piping & Layout Engineer, you will join the Energy Carriers Business Line within the Tub Department. Responsibilities Develop plant layouts. Draft critical piping routes based on process diagrams and layouts, considering accessibility, maintainability, safety, thermal gradients, and material costs. Count piping materials from process diagrams and floor plans. Interpret technical specifications and identify critical aspects. Analyze contract clauses and customer requests. Plan activities, comment on project schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor progress. Manage and issue change orders and scope variations. Supervise piping engineering activities carried out by external subcontractors or other Saipem centers. Qualifications Education : Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience : 5-10 years in industrial plant design in oil & gas, petrochemical, renewable, or floating sectors. Languages : Excellent written and spoken English, B2 level. Technical Skills : Responsible for ensuring piping activities align with costs and schedules, liaising with various piping professionals of diverse backgrounds and nationalities. IT Skills : Proficiency with main computer software programs. Additional Information You may have opportunities to travel abroad depending on project requirements.
