Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development to ensure a smooth transition from concept to market. Support the entire product development cycle focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and risk management, while actively contributing to industrialization through design for manufacturing principles. Define timelines and methods, develop tools, and provide prerequisites to ensure products meet safety, quality, cost, and lead time standards. Support production to meet customer project targets and implement preventive actions. Lead cost estimation and monitoring using proactive planning and early management practices. Your Mission Your Scope: Understand key concepts of the industrialization process within a production context. Engage with key functions driving product and factory innovation and transformation. Comprehend financial concepts such as cost, planning, and reduction programs on a global scale. Process Optimization: Oversee new equipment launches from kick-off, creating standard work and instructions based on configuration maps. Design tools and jigs to enhance quality and cost efficiency. Implement best practices and methodologies to streamline production processes. Develop standardized procedures and guidelines for manufacturing to ensure consistency and efficiency. Apply lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and improve process flow. Cost Management and Planning: Calculate target costs considering materials and labor activities. Establish a comprehensive framework for cost estimation adaptable to market conditions. Participate in a cross-functional team to ensure accurate cost estimation and monitoring. Implement proactive cost planning and reduction strategies. Support the development of make-or-buy strategies by analyzing cost-effectiveness, quality, and capacity. Leverage automation and software tools for enhanced cost monitoring and decision-making. Product Development: Contribute to product development programs, supporting project milestones and design for manufacturing. Lead cost optimization planning and participate in risk assessments and failure mode analyses. Define and validate assembly and testing procedures focusing on quality and safety. Process Optimization: Develop digital procedures and implement new technologies (AI, Cobots, AR) to enhance production processes. Lead automation tool implementation to improve manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics. Apply Lean and Six Sigma best practices to analyze data and reduce variability in production. Cross-functional Strategic Collaboration: Work with engineering, sourcing, and production teams to enhance product quality and cost efficiency. Implement value engineering to optimize functions while minimizing costs. Engage in continuous improvement activities, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles. Participate in World Class program initiatives. Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Knowledge of industrial engineering, focusing on process optimization and cost management. Fluent in Italian and English. Leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with AI, Cobots, and AR technologies is a plus. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
