The EU Regional Operations team acts as a centre of excellence at Deliveroo, responsible for the hyperlocal availability, reliability, and efficiency of the delivery network across the European organisation. This includes fleet size planning, network management, logistics, incentives, and rider pricing. The Role Running large-scale operations in a fast-growing and highly competitive environment is a complex and demanding challenge. You will be faced with some of the most exciting problems in the food tech space. Reporting to the Head of Regional Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the logistics network across Europe by driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives within your region. Your primary focus will be on providing strong leadership and strategic direction, developing and executing regional plans, overseeing the operational budget, and influencing rider behaviors through incentives and regional pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a framework and playbooks for standardisation, oversee hyperlocal strategic plans, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and leverage data to optimize regional initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with EU Operations teams, support growth with commercial teams, and act as a connector between central strategy and local execution. Drive collaboration across teams such as Supply, Rider Pricing, Content, Engagement, and Network. Requirements Minimum of 2 years in operations management, preferably in logistics or food delivery. Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams. Strong strategic thinking, budget management, and analytical skills. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Comfortable with data platforms, operational tooling, and acting as an SME. Preferred: experience with forecasting, modelling, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker; SQL knowledge is a plus. Why Deliveroo?
