Job Description
You will manage a team of Application Support Analysts and act as an Application Support Analyst when workload requires additional bandwidth. As an L2 Application Support Leader, you will collaborate with the IT Service Manager to oversee upgrades to existing technologies in the production environment and provide change management support to Key Users. In your daily work, you will interact directly with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You will report to the IT Service Manager but are expected to prioritize your workload and that of your team independently, without supervision or approval from your manager. You will be responsible for managing your workload, problem-solving, and prioritizing autonomously. Your team and you are responsible for analyzing, assigning, and following up on incidents, problems, and service requests within your scope of responsibilities. Your duties include: Analyzing, assigning, and following up on incidents, problems, and service requests. Conducting root cause analysis, managing communication, and maintaining client relationships in partnership with the IT Service Manager. Ensuring all production changes adhere to the lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines. Maintaining the quality of functional IT documentation. Providing 2nd line IT support and creating documentation for the 1st line IT organization. Occasionally performing tasks related to WMS, TMS, reporting, and EDI. As part of the L2 IT Support team, analyzing, assigning, and following up on incidents, problems, and service requests. Assessing the technical and business impact of issues/problems, classifying severity, and providing timely resolutions to restore IT services. Escalating unresolved issues to the next level to ensure timely resolution. Communicating progress proactively and timely to customers and reporters. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus. At least 3 years of experience with WMS systems and related processes/functions in a similar role. Independent, analytical, accurate, with the ability to maintain a broad overview. Experience in a complex, fast-paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain industry. Excellent command of Italian and English languages. Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and target orientation. Self-motivated and team-oriented, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a matrix environment and establishing effective, collaborative relationships internally and externally.
