Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the lodges boutique/retail outlets. Select, source, and curate high-end merchandise that aligns with the lodges brand and guest profile. Maintain optimal stock levels, oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory control. Design attractive product displays and ensure the boutique meets 5-star presentation standards. Train and manage retail staff to deliver exceptional guest service and upsell effectively. Analyse sales trends, prepare sales reports, and drive revenue growth through retail strategies. Work closely with lodge management to align retail offerings with guest preferences and seasonal demands. Requirements: Minimum 35 years retail management or merchandising experience, preferably in a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or high-end retail environment. Strong merchandising and visual display skills. Excellent knowledge of inventory management and retail sales strategies. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially driven. Experience managing and training retail staff. Proficiency in POS and inventory management systems.
