Responsibilities We are looking for a PLC Programmer who will develop software for automating food processing plants. The candidate will work within the technical team and will be involved in programming, testing, and commissioning activities, contributing to the creation of highly technological customized solutions. Your Role Develop PLC and HMI software for processing plants (especially Siemens TIA Portal) Configure SCADA systems and interface with field components Define process logic in collaboration with the technical team and project managers Conduct testing on-site and commissioning at clients' locations (Italy/abroad) Draft and update technical project documentation Provide post-sales support for software modifications and functional optimizations Your Profile We will consider applications from professionals meeting the following requirements: Diploma or Degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields Previous experience in the role, preferably in food processing plants Excellent knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems and main industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus, etc.) Ability to read electrical diagrams and P&ID Attitude for field work and solving technical issues Willingness to travel (about 90–110 days/year) Good knowledge of English Location: Province of Parma Indicative RAL: Based on experience Sector: Food processing equipment / Process automation Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Human Resources Services J-18808-Ljbffr
