Your role involves working on AWS Data Platform projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and objectives. You will deliver data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models. Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest improvements. Define and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Migrate infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable environment. Set up monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack. Define capacity planning strategies. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools. Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar tools. Required Skills Experience in a cloud-native environment, with at least 5 years on AWS preferred; familiarity with GCP or Azure is a plus. Knowledge of Big Data architectures, both cloud and on-premise. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS/EKS experience is a plus. Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda. Strong understanding of security best practices (e.g., IAM Roles, KMS). Experience with AWS infrastructure and networking. Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud. Monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source solutions like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK. Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, shell scripting. Experience working with Agile methodologies and Kanban. AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or Developer are desirable.
