Operations Manager Food Ingredients

We are searching for an Operations Manager - Food Ingredients for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global network of plants, sales offices, and R&D centers. Location: Northern Italy, onsite Please note: Apply only in English, not Italian. Must have experience in Food Ingredients and technologies like drying, extraction, and mixing. Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English. This role involves managing some European plants, requiring travel. Primary Responsibilities Direct and coordinate all plant and supply chain operations within company policies and procedures. Responsible for plant production goals. Establish and maintain positive community relationships. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and lead plant meetings. Oversee product quality control. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. Requirements University degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in a similar position. Significant manufacturing knowledge in the food industry. Advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills. Strong ability to build and motivate a team. Experience with technologies like drying, extraction, and mixing. Experience in B2B with multiple SKUs. Knowledge of Batch & Continuous Production. Key Skills English speaking, Access Control System, Cloud Computing, JDE, Light Bus and Heavy Bus, Building Electrician.
