What if your next job was about Production manager in the Coater department where thin metal layers are sputtered on the glass surface. This glass is further incorporated into car windows and panoramic sunroofs. The job mainly involves: Daily follow-up of the production of coated glass with high quality standards. Follow-up, supervise, and adjust production to achieve predetermined production parameters and planning in a safe manner. Managing the production teams (3-shift system during the week and weekend shift). Ensuring quality assurance in collaboration with the process engineer, quality manager, and production managers through day-to-day reconciliation of SQC measurements, making decisions about questionable production, and adjusting processes if necessary. Investigating customer complaints and incident analyses: performing root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions. Keeping regulations and instructions within the management system up to date. Being involved in the development and testing of new coatings, specifically regarding quality measurements. Reporting to the Coater Manager and working closely with colleagues within AGC and external partners such as AGC R&D Centre, AGC Japan, and AGC Automotive. Are you the perfect match? You have a master's degree in engineering and are interested in working in an industrial environment. You prioritize safety and communicate about it effectively. You possess strong organizational skills and can set priorities. You enjoy working in a team and motivating others to achieve common goals. You have good communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus. Your creative and analytical thinking, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm are key assets. What do we offer?
