Aseptic Product Support ECA Automation Engineer Contract Type Permanent Country Location Parma Your Opportunity The Regional Product Support (RPS) for Europe and Central Asia (ECA) within Sidel's SERVICE organization offers an exciting opportunity to engage closely with our innovative products and valued customers. This role involves providing support for service operations and new equipment, focusing on aseptic filler machines from Sidel's portfolio. Your Mission The Aseptic Product Support ECA Automation Engineer plays a key role in supporting aseptic products on the filling platform, including trade equipment such as cappers, inspection systems, nitrogen dosers, and printers. You will ensure operational follow-up, technical support, and collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Installation Site Managers, Project Managers, Customer Care Managers, and Automation Field Coordinators. Your main responsibilities include: Troubleshooting automation platforms on aseptic fillers and associated equipment Managing Non-Conformity and warranty costs Supporting Field Service Engineers during projects and service site execution Applying RCA methodology to automation issues, collecting data, and implementing preventive/corrective actions Providing support via telephone, email, and ticketing systems Securing retrofit applications concerning automation platforms Preparing and distributing documentation for automation troubleshooting on aseptic equipment Your Profile Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience; proficiency in spoken and written English is essential At least five years of technical assistance, field experience, or engineering in packaging equipment, especially automation Knowledge of sensitive and aseptic technology is crucial; familiarity with filling products and processes is a plus Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals, safety equipment, sensors, motion control, servo drivers, and inverters Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens S7/TIA Portal (SCL, Graph, AWL), B&R, and Rockwell Automation Proficiency in HMI systems (ZenOn, Citec, InTouch) and motion platforms (Danfoss, Elau, B&R) will be advantageous J-18808-Ljbffr
