Job Description
For our client, a Growing CDMO specialized in development and production of sterile injectable products, we’re looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER The candidate, reporting to the BD manager, will lead and manage key projects with a primary focus on execution. This includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, and timing. Product and business goals will be achieved by planning and directing project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines and budgets. Key responsibilities include: Project management: Manage CDMO projects (Technology Transfer and new Development) as the SPOC for all project aspects with customers; Coordinate internal project activities, lead multidisciplinary project teams, organize project meetings, and issue Project Plans; Monitor adherence to timelines and costs; Provide regular updates on project status to CCO and Management; Support Finance in project cost control and update project financials; Coordinate external activities related to project execution (e.g., laboratory activities); Business Development: Manage new customer relationships through to product launch; Assist CCO in technical evaluation of new projects; Prepare Technology Transfer and Commercial Proposals; Represent the company at international exhibitions and congresses; Support CCO in scouting for new customers and business opportunities; Handle in-licensing and out-licensing of new products; Assist CCO in preparing budgets for new projects and products. New Product Launch: Coordinate activities supporting the commercial launch of new products, ensuring material availability, proper documentation, and timely internal activities; Serve as the SPOC with external customers for new product launches, developing launch plans; Regulatory: Coordinate regulatory activities, evaluations, and timelines for new projects, acting as SPOC for regulatory documentation with customers. Qualifications: Degrees in Pharmacy, CTF, Chemistry, or Biotechnology; Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and CMO manufacturing processes; Minimum of 3 years of experience in a complex multinational CMO environment; Formal project management training preferred; Positive attitude, driven, persistent, results-oriented; Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to influence others and reach agreements; Ability to work independently and in team environments; Willingness to travel up to 20%.
