The future colleague will join the Cyber Security Operations Team in the role of CYBERSECURITY ANALYST - Tier 1 , responsible for continuous monitoring of security systems and tools, initial alert analysis, incident triage, and escalation to higher levels when necessary. Responsibilities of the selected candidate include: Constant monitoring of security systems and tools such as SIEM, IDS, and firewalls to detect suspicious activities; Performing initial analysis of security alerts to assess severity, potential impact, and relevance, with a focus on filtering out false positives; Accurate logging of all incidents, actions taken, and outcomes achieved, including supporting documentation for escalation processes; Responding to common incidents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined within the SOC; Collaborating with Tier 2 Analysts for advanced investigation and incident handling. Hard Skills The ideal candidate meets the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; At least 1-2 years of experience in Cyber Security service environments; Knowledge of XDR, NDR technologies, Active Directory, and Linux; Troubleshooting skills; Ability to analyze system, network, and application logs to identify anomalies; Familiarity with threat analysis frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK; Certifications related to Cyber Security (e.g., GIAC Certified Incident Handler, ECSA, CEH) are a plus. Language Skills Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken; Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus. Soft Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving contexts; Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Teamwork and cooperative spirit; Flexibility and availability for on-call shifts, including holidays and weekends.
