JOB TITLE & JOB CODE Job Title (Job Code): EN-DR-37: Digital Mock-Up Lead Engineer (DMU LE) PURPOSE OF THE JOB Ensuring End-to-End (“E2E”) consistent & fluid data-flow on Digital Mock-up and E-BOM according to Métier Rules and Standards ORGANISATION Organisation structure (job belongs to) Engineering (Site) Reports directly to: EN-DR-10: Train Architecture Domain Leader (TA DL) Operationally reports to: EN-DR-05: Train Mechanical Interface Engineer (TMIE) Other reporting to: None Direct reports: None Network & Links Internal - TD Métier 3D Management Leader and all DMU TA - Project/Platform : x TA, x MLE, x ME, x CAD - KU DMA, KU CATIA External None MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Performance Measurement/KPI’s - Clean digital mock-up, parts well positioned - Respect of modelisation/structuring methodologies (Q-Checker) - DMTR reviews ready on time - Metadata properly fulfilled - Leadership in realignment mitigations plans Responsibilities Accountable for - Ensuring proper maturity & status level (e.g : Review, Consultation, Order, Proto, Serie…) according to planning - Ensuring proper positioning of components in DMU - Ensuring proper attributes filling (PDM files) and classification (for MDM E2E compliance based on UNSPSC pivot table) - Ensuring correct application of DMU metholodologies Responsible for - Building upper appropriate product breakdown structures (ZBS, IBS, …) and performing all activities assigned to the “Architect” role in the DMU tool - Synchronizing exchanges between LU, PU, TSS, Suppliers and Subcontractors along project duration, in order to maintain a consistent eBOM configuration - Extracting simplified 3D DMU engineering baselines for DTDR/DMTR, resolving configuration diversity to deliver Customer’s documentation / 3D presentations and editing related maturity status KPIs - Animating PPL KPI at project level MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Educational Requirements & Experience Mandatory: Advanced technician certificate Desirable: Engineering school for junior profiles Experience Mandatory: None Desirable: - 3D Modelling, drawing creation - Design in heavy industry Competencies & Skills Technical - English basics in read/writing and technical meetings Behavioral - Rigorous You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
